Calming Words of Reassurance to Support Healing Chronic Illness.

Hello everyone!
I recently created a calming words of reassurance guided meditation that I would like to share.
The other morning I was deeply reflecting, and actually overthinking, about what else I need to learn to become a better coach, and what my clients truly need.
I am slowly working my way through Rebecca Tolin’s course, which is packed with so much valuable information. I’m truly grateful for all the insights and resources.
At the same time, I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed, almost like I am trying to learn everything at once so I can be the perfect coach.
~Yes, I still have perfectionist tendencies, even after healing through mind–body work. They’ve softened though and now I can recognize them and respond with far more love and self-compassion.
After looping through the same thoughts over and over, I decided to ask myself, ‘What did I need most when I was extremely sick?
What actually helped me the most?’
The answers came quickly:
First, I needed to let go of fixing and researching, and just be. I needed to stop googling and stop taking in an endless stream of information, and instead focus on simple practices that made me feel safe.
Second, I needed a lot of calming words of reassurance.
And quite honestly these are also the two things that I needed in the current moment as well!
Once I began to practice these two things while I was sick I began to feel a lot calmer.
I totally stopped researching anything health related. I kept my internet time to only listening to some of Dan Buglio’s daily reminders from time to time along with recovery stories only through his channel since I knew they all healed through TMS work.
I repeated kind, reassuring words to myself again and again.
And while that helped, receiving support from outside sources was also incredibly valuable, especially during moments of doubt. For me, Rebecca Tolin’s somatic tracking meditation brought a deep sense of calm and reassurance.
That’s why I created this calming, reassuring meditation. I made it for you to listen to whether you’re lying in bed in a relaxed, meditative state, or you’re out on a walk and need soothing, grounding words.
Wherever you are in your journey remember that you are
safe and you are supported.
